I graduated from the Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien in the class of Heimo Zobernig and attended Rijksakademie Residency in Amsterdam.
Currently I'm completing masters in curating and commissioning public art at HDK-Valand at Gothenburg University in Sweden.
In my work I research gender and identity, working through it with elements of folklore, oral lore, personal experience, historical records, rites and rituals. For the spiritual carriers of meaning I use symbolic objects made by tapestry weavers and ritual performers from the Balkans: veiled mirrors, black-loom embroidery, hair, wood carvings and spell deterrents.
My visual language consists of sculptural paintings, theatre effect textiles, weaving, draperies, embroidery and photography of personal and collective transformation.
